I tried it on one of the start screens also where there is nothing going on in the game and still can't detect them ever lighting. The weird thing is the C buttons Never appear to light up on the overlay or maybe they are all always lit? Hard to tell really as they tried to get artsy in the way they light the buttons which makes it very subtle, especially with stuff in the game flashing, etc. I have remapped the buttons several times and it always ends up this way! if I have no items in that location or if I am in a dialog with someone in the game, I can use this button as usual but if I have a mask or something in that location then when I push this button it acts like C-down everytime.Īs a workaround, I mapped A to the left shoulder button as well and can use that but I would prefer to have it as the down button on the pad as it should be. I have the C buttons mapped to the right analog stick on the controller and that works fine, however C down also always is on my bottom button (X) which I have mapped to be the N64 A button. Having an issue with Majora's mask with mupen64 core and a ps3 style usb controller on a pc.
